Privacy
Every biopic counts its visits, so the person it's about knows it's being seen. Here's exactly what that means.
If you're visiting a biopic
Each *.biopic.studio page is made and hosted by Biopic Studio for the person it's about (the owner).
What we count
- that a page was opened, and which one;
- roughly where the visit came from (for example WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram or search);
- the kind of device: phone, tablet or computer;
- how far the film was watched, and whether Save contact, Share, Call, WhatsApp or Book was tapped.
Personal links
If someone sent you a link made for you (like …/for/Riya/7Kp2x), the page greets you by that first name, and the person who sent it can see that the link was opened, when, and the actions above. A little like a "seen" tick. Nothing else about you is collected.
What we don't do
- No cookies. No advertising, no analytics companies, no fingerprinting, no selling or sharing of data.
- We don't store your IP address. It's used for a moment, mixed with a secret that changes every day, to count unique visits that day, then thrown away. Our web server's log keeps only the first three parts of an address (like 203.0.113.0), never the page's ?for= name.
- We never ask for your name, email or number on a biopic, unless you choose to contact the owner.
Biopic pages load fonts and animation code from public providers (Google Fonts, cdnjs, unpkg), which receive an ordinary web request when the page opens.
How long we keep it
Visit details: 90 days. After that, only daily totals (like "42 visits on 3 November") remain. Server logs: up to 14 days.
Your choices
Want the visits from your personal link deleted? Write to us (below) and we'll delete them. A content or ad blocker also stops the counting.

Email is sent through Resend (sign-in codes and the morning summary). Everything else runs on Biopic Studio's own server. Connections are encrypted; each workspace sees only its own data.
